I've been a huge fan of Martha Stewart since forever. I don't care what people say about her I think she is one of the most fabulous women in the world and recently she released a new book titled "Encyclopedia of Sewing and Fabric Crafts". Well, of course I've got to have it! Lucky for me, I got a 50% off coupon to use at JoAnn, so I bought myself this book last night (retail price is normally $35 in case you are wondering). Purchased at half the price, this book is awesome. I love it.
This book is jam-packed with how-to's and simple projects. It's like a text book for craft school. You'll learn various techniques for sewing, applique, embroidery, quilting, dyering and even fabric printing! If that's not enough, this book also comes with a CD featuring print-at-home patterns and templates. Super, right?
I have to warn you though. I find most projects (if not all?) featured in this book are available on marthastewart.com. I've seen them on the website before---I visit her website almost on a daily basis. Regardless, I find it nice to have the hard-copy of those projects.
All and all, I love the book. It's great and even better if you could score it at 50% off the retail price! Highly recommend the book!
